The Miss University of Alabama Scholarship Program held it’s 2022 Candidate Meeting at Alumni Hall on the campus of the University of Alabama, on Sunday, October 16, 2022. Miss UA will see a total of 18 candidates for its 2022 competition, up from 12 candidates in 2021.
At the meeting, candidates learned about some of the finer points of the night of competition from Mrs. Carol Wright, director of the Miss UA program. Tammy Jones, choreographer for Miss UA, was on hand to discuss the on-stage production of the competition. And, candidates also learned about the social media challenges, which each candidate participates in during the week leading up to the night of competition, from Miss UA consultant Laura Clements.
